  1. In a pan, heat Ghee and add Cloves, Raisins, Green Cardamoms, Almonds, Pistachios, and Cashewnuts slivered along with Dry Coconut pieces. Fry for a minute or two. Now add Milk and Sugar. Bring it to a rolling boil on high heat and then add the Basmati Rice.
  2. Mix well. Cook on medium-high heat until the rice gets cooked. You can add a few pinches of your favorite food color or just Saffron strands like me. It gets a nice pale yellow color.
